Humour
Observations, reactions and the funny side of everyday life.
Real life. Rick’s way.
Former boxer. Former biker. A lifetime of stories, humour, hard lessons, travel, training and everyday moments — told straight, without the filter.

Born in the UK to Italian-English parents and raised in Australia from the age of eight, Rick grew up in housing commission in the 1970s and learned many lessons the hard way. Now 65, he wants to share a lifetime of experience, mistakes, humour and perspective — especially with younger people who may be able to learn from the road he travelled.
Not one niche. One personality. Different parts of life brought together through Rick’s voice and point of view.
Observations, reactions and the funny side of everyday life.
Real routines, real opinions and life as Rick sees it.
Training, discipline and lessons carried forward from boxing.
Places, people, food and stories from the road.
Personal experiences told honestly, directly and in Rick’s own words.
“What did boxing teach me that had nothing to do with throwing a punch?”
That’s the kind of conversation The Rick Effect is built for. Stories that go beyond the obvious — lessons from the ring, life on the road, getting older, staying active, having a laugh and looking back without living in the past.
